Nofima provides research based knowledge and innovations for actors in all parts of the food systems. The research we conduct is industry-oriented and relevant, and the knowledge we generate is actively applied by our clients. Our work contributes to development of a sustainable and profitable food industry, an effective public sector, creating jobs and knowledge that is to the benefit of the society.

We have 397 employees with 42 different nationalities. 165 of these have a doctorate degree.

In 2022, we worked on 602 different projects and had a turnover of NOK 707 million (67 mill USD). We have customers in 34 countries.
